Best Louisville Neighborhoods: Asbury Park

Posted by Tre Pryor, Editor-in-Chief on September 09, 2009 in Neighborhoods tagged with , ,

Asbury Park is a unique neighborhood in Louisville's East End near Prospect and Springhurst. Asbury Park is unique because of the way the homes are laid out around green spaces, with small lots and garages only in the rear of the property. Similar in some aspects to Norton Commons, Asbury Park harkens back to an older time where people walked more and interacted their neighbors on a regular basis. Near shopping at The Summit, several dining options and access to the expressways, this great neighborhood has a lot of positive traits. You won't find many neighborhoods with character like this

Today they're building even nicer, custom homes, similar to those you might find in Hillcrest on Oldham's north side. Because of it's location in Crestwood and growing size, Briar Hill is a popular place for a homebuyer seeking the top-rate Oldham Co. schools without moving too far from Louisville. If you like GlenOaks, you shou
